Power engineering company Specenergoremonti Ltd. was established in 2002. It was founded on the basis of formerly existing enterprises - Hydroenergoremonti and Hydrospecmontagremonti. Specenergoremonti was registered by Didube-Chugureti Regional Court on July 23, 2002. Since then the company has been actively involved in implementation of repair, assembly, adjustment and commissioning works on the following power plants and power equipment:

• Generators, turbines;
• Auxiliary equipment of hydroelectric units (gates, oil pressure systems, etc.);
• Mechanical equipment of hydrotechnical facilities;
• Small HPP;
• Compressors, ventilators;
• Hoist mechanisms and machines;
• High voltage power and measuring transformers;
• Air, oil and SF6 gas switches;
• Power isolators and other keypad equipment;
• Stationary accumulator batteries and their chargers.

The company is staffed by qualified specialists who have substantial experience in installation and maintenance works at power engineering objects. Throughout many years under their guidance and direct participation installation, overhaul, alignment and commissioning projects have been performed on hydroelectric units, turbines, generators, high-voltage switches and accumulator batteries almost at all operating power plants in Georgia.

Specenergoremonti has effectively cooperated with foreign companies, such as Italian Ansaldo Energia, Russian Elittechnostroi, Bulgarian VAPTECH, Czech ZAT, German DSD-Noell and Rexroth Bosch Group.
